SUMMARY:Sound of Strasburg Concert - Lancaster Swing Dance
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy our Summer Series Opener with a night of swing dance music at the Strasburg Community park June 21st!! The evening will begin with a 30 minute free beginning dance lesson led by instructors from Lancaster Swing Dance Club in collaboration with the Lancaster Jazz Collective. Then\, dance the evening away to (or simply sit back and enjoy) LIVE MUSIC from FLIPSIDE\, Lampeter-Strasburg Community Band’s specialty swing band! A grassy area in front of stage will be reserved for dancing\, with plenty of tiered amphitheater space all around for concert goers to place their lawn chairs and blankets. \nEntertainment begins at 6:30pm. Free Admission\, All ages. Donations to support the park are welcome. Concert guests are advised to bring blankets and lawn chairs for seating on the park’s terraced amphitheater. An assortment of food\, frozen treats & cold beverages will be available for purchase.
