SUMMARY:Kat's 5k Family Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:The 12th Annual Kat’s 5k Family Run/Walk will be held Saturday\, May 9th\, rain or shine. Runners and walkers will be gathering in the back parking lot of Wesley United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall\, 46 West Main Street\, for the event.  \nThe event is to celebrate the short but precious lives of so many babies that are forever missed and loved. Proceeds will benefit The Sweet Pea Project\, The Lancaster Garden of Hope\, and the Kathryn Frances Lehoe Burial Fund. These organizations provide our bereaved community so much love and support during the most difficult times in their lives.  \nRunners and walkers will be traveling a loop from Franklin Street to South Jackson Street\, Bunker Hill and Twin Elm Roads\, and looping back to the starting point. Road closures and detours will be marked and in place until at least mid-morning. Please be cautious and patient if you are traveling these roads during the event. DESCRIPTION:The Annual Strasburg Memorial Day Parade and Memorial Service\, sponsored by Strasburg Area Sertoma Club\, will be held Monday\, May 25th beginning at 9:00 a.m.\n\n\n\nThe parade will start at the west end of Miller Street and travel down West and East Main Streets. Following the parade there will a Memorial Service at the Strasburg Cemetery. In the event of inclement weather\, the parade will be cancelled\, and the services will be held at the Presbyterian Church.\n\n\n\nRoads will be temporarily closed at times so please plan your travel accordingly that morning.
