The Eshelman Run Streambank Stabilization MS4 Project was completed in November of 2022. This project restored approximately 417 linear feet of streambank, reducing the sediment load and creating a native riparian buffer.
Strasburg Borough is in the planning stages of future stormwater/MS4 projects to address our municipalities stormwater infrastructure. Our historic town was incorporated in 1733, many years before there were any stormwater regulations, leaving our town with numerous “problem” areas. We are currently in the process of organizing a Stormwater Authority to pursue and manage these much needed projects.
