STRASBURG BOROUGH ZONING ORDINANCE AND MAP AMENDMENT
Notice is hereby given that Strasburg Borough Council at its meeting on August 12, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., at the Strasburg Borough Municipal Building, 145 Precision Avenue, Strasburg, Pennsylvania, shall conduct a public hearing on a proposed ordinance to amend the Strasburg Borough Zoning Ordinance of 1993 to Amend the Zoning Map by changing the zoning classification of properties located along the east and west side of Hampden Drive from the Residential Zone (R-2) to the Residential Zone (R-3); to add definitions for adaptive reuse, awning, canopy, carport, conversion apartment, and drive-thru canopy; to waive minimum parking requirements for adaptive reuse in the commercial zone (C-1); to clarify regulations regarding setback modifications; and to provide for other no-substantive updates.
A copy of the proposed Ordinance may be examined at the Strasburg Borough Municipal Building, 145 Precision Avenue, Strasburg, Pennsylvania, Mondays through Thursdays from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and a copy of the proposed ordinance may be obtained for the cost of reproduction at the Strasburg Borough Municipal Building during the above hours.
