Due to the forecast for significant snowfall over the next few days, the Borough of Strasburg has declared a snow emergency beginning on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 6 pm through Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 6 am.

Residents are required to remove all vehicles from designated “Snow Emergency Routes” (East and West Main Street, Miller Street, North and South Decatur Street, South Jackson Street, and Franklin Street) or risk being towed.

Residents are strongly encouraged to remove vehicles from all other streets in the Borough for the duration of snow removal operations.

Those without off-street parking facilities may park their vehicles at one of these pre-approved snow emergency parking lots: First Presbyterian Church (101 South Decatur Street), Wesley United Methodist Church (46 West Main Street), Strasburg Jaycee Park (218B Miller Street), Strasburg Borough Municipal Building (145 Precision Avenue) and the Bachman Snyder Funeral Home (enter from 19 Franklin Street).

Travel during the snow emergency is discouraged.

In the interest of public safety, please consider removing snow from around fire hydrants and storm drain inlets on or near your property.
