Monday the construction crews will continue curb/sidewalk restoration and begin trench restoration. Trench restoration involves leveling and paving the areas of road that were dug for the infrastructure installation. Final paving of East Main Street will not take place until the South Decatur Street portion of the project is also complete. Construction should be completed on East Main Street the week of May 18th. If all goes as planned, the East Main Street detour will end just before Memorial Day weekend. The South Decatur Street detour and construction will begin just after Memorial Day.
