Community Barn Dance

Strasburg Heritage Society is pleased to host a Community Barn Dance! This will be a FUN FAMILY FRIENDLY event for ALL AGES! And it’s FREE!
Dance styles will include a mix of Square Dancing, Scottish/Irish Ceilidh, and Contra. If you’ve ever tried any of these, you’ll know how much fun it is, and how easy it is to learn – no experience is necessary! Intro to the dance calls starts at 3:00, followed by from 3:30 to 5:00.
You’ll be dancing to live music provided by Paul Morton, Becca Rast and Kinley Zook, with Fiona Gillespie as the dance caller. Bring your own chairs or blankets for the lawn.
Those sweet community gatherings that have been part of Strasburg’s heritage for hundreds of years are still alive today – don’t miss out!
