Kat’s 5k Family Run/Walk

The 12th Annual Kat’s 5k Family Run/Walk will be held Saturday, May 9th, rain or shine. Runners and walkers will be gathering in the back parking lot of Wesley United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 46 West Main Street, for the event.
The event is to celebrate the short but precious lives of so many babies that are forever missed and loved. Proceeds will benefit The Sweet Pea Project, The Lancaster Garden of Hope, and the Kathryn Frances Lehoe Burial Fund. These organizations provide our bereaved community so much love and support during the most difficult times in their lives.
Runners and walkers will be traveling a loop from Franklin Street to South Jackson Street, Bunker Hill and Twin Elm Roads, and looping back to the starting point. Road closures and detours will be marked and in place until at least mid-morning. Please be cautious and patient if you are traveling these roads during the event.
